Example ZIP structure for reliable LaTeX-to-Word conversion.

ltx2doc expects a complete project ZIP with manuscript source and referenced assets. It will try to infer required files such as the main .tex entrypoint, bibliography sources, and abbreviation files automatically.

You can still use different file names and folder names. The key requirement is that your references in .tex files point to files that exist in the ZIP (project-relative paths are standard).

You can usually create this ZIP directly in Overleaf by pressing the Download button in the project overviews window.
